The Wedding School
I occasionally teach here; it's a great learning resource in spite of that. There's a VAST amount of members-only content that's watchable anytime, plus new content is added frequently. If you're a member you can see the classes/lessons I've taught or helped teach at these direct links:
- Reception Lighting Using Multiple Off Camera Flashes (my first solo course; I'm thrilled and thankful that so many photographers have found this class helpful.)
- Creating Albums that Sell with Finao (link goes to the part of this summit I taught; the whole thing is great and worth watching in its entirety.)
- Image Premiere Guide Tutorial (for the client Image Premiere Guide I designed that you can purchase via the Wedding School store.)
- Image Critique for TWS Members (B+W) (broadcast live in May 2017 with Susan)
- Spotlight Gallery Image Critique: Day 1 and Day 2 (broadcast live from Brooklyn in November 2018; judges rotated in pairs to discuss and critique images for the Spotlight Gallery. Judges: Charmi Peña, Jacklyn Greenberg, Susan Stripling, Cliff Mautner, and me.)
- Guest speaker in lots of weekly Q&A broadcasts (I can't make permanent links, but you can click the link and then find the dates on the archive sidebar: March 19th 2017, August 3rd 2017, March 2nd 2018, May 2nd 2018, October 10th 2018, July 1st, 2019, and probably a few that I either didn't find or that haven't been posted yet.)
- and if you're not sick of my face and want to watch me model badly, you can check that out at the Wedding School workshops I helped with: Bridal Portrait Workshop and the Wedding Couple Workshop. (Note: as helpful as the filmed versions of workshops can be, nothing replaces the in-person experience! If you have a chance to go to one, definitely GO. Hopefully I'll see you there.)
QUESTIONS?
I'm so happy to hear that I've been able to help other photographers learn and improve their skills and businesses! Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions about what I've taught for TWS or if there's any other way I can help. 🖤
Many thanks to my colleague and friend Susan Stripling for encouraging me to teach within our industry and offering me a place to do so with her incredible online school. I never knew I could love doing something as much as I love photography, but sharing techniques and skills with my colleagues is right up there.
